We all have a relationship with food, each and every meal. The mind, body, and brain are intimately connected, and impacted upon by one another. As a trained health and neuropsychologist Dr. Wolkin aims to assess and treat clients from a holistic stance. She is passionate about the gut-brain connection, and how understanding this connection can help inform healthy weight loss. She uses an integrative approach with her clients, which includes cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based techniques.
She believes that the most efficient, and long-lasting journey toward weight-loss takes into account both our psychology and our physiology. Why do you have certain eating patterns? How can we we work together to break the cycle or change it up?
Dr. Rosen, dietician Megan Wolf and I work together to ensure each patient gets individualized care to achieve your personal weight loss goals.
